Job Description
Gunderson Dettmer has an opening for a Hospitality Services Assistant in our San Diego Office. We are looking for candidates who will thrive in a small office environment. This position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative administrative team.
Job Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility to Reception, Hospitality and Office Services.
- Answer phones, greet and direct clients and guests, adhering to security protocol.
- Conference room management, including scheduling conference rooms and maintaining appearance and supply levels.
- General administrative duties such as filing and data entry.
- Coordinate catering.
- Responsible for office supply inventory including ordering, organizing, stocking supplies.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of kitchens, supply rooms and conference rooms.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail with all major shipping companies and USPS
- Arrange for couriers and messenger services.
- Oversee postage machine and copier/printer usage; place service calls as necessary.
- Assist with office moves and new office setups.
- Assist with large-scale copy/print/scanning jobs and large mailing projects.
- Perform other general administrative duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
- Prior experience in a receptionist role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work overtime.
- BS/BA degree preferred.

- Full Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule
- This role will require in office work Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
